The European Open Science Cloud has finally entered its highly-anticipated implementation phase (2021-2027). The EOSC Symposium 2021 provides a key engagement opportunity for the EOSC community.
Building on the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), the EOSC Association is establishing a number of Advisory Groups and Task Forces, which will be in place by June. These will focus on priority areas for the implementation phase.
At the same time, a plethora of EU, regionally and nationally funded research projects are carrying out activities, and actually producing key exploitable results which can contribute to this new phase.
The Symposium also offers an inclusive platform for all stakeholders to share objectives, visions, activities and results in order to shape the future of the EOSC.
The Symposium is organised by the EOSCsecretariat.eu project as part of its support to the EOSC Governance.
On Thursday 17 June, DICE will be presented in two sessions:
- 11:35 - 11:45: in the session dedicated to "Sustaining EOSC", Peter Doorn will give a presentation about DANS & DICE - Long-term data preservation for the EOSC: archiving policies for EUDAT data services in the DICE project
- 14:25 - 15:30: in the session dedicated to "Technical challenges on EOSC", Nadia Tonello will give a presentation about DICE project use cases: integration of interoperable data and services with communities platforms.
